Privacy policy

Porcelain is developed by Ognjen Karagunović. This policy explains how information is handled in the Porcelain iPhone app and on this support website.

In the app

Porcelain works offline and does not collect personal information. It has no accounts, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs. Its only in-app purchase is an optional tip, handled entirely by Apple; the developer receives no payment or account details, and the tip unlocks nothing.

Anonymous progress

Starting with version 1.1, the app can report anonymous progress so we can see how far players get: the first time you open the game, and the first time you start and finish each course. Each report contains only that event, the course number, how many scored attempts a first finish took, whether it came from progress saved on your device before reporting existed, and the app version. It contains no name, account, device identifier, advertising identifier, or location, and reports are not linked to you or to each other. They are stored in Google Cloud Firestore; Google processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver them, and we do not store it. You can turn this off at any time with Share anonymous progress in Sound & comfort; nothing is sent while it is off.

Your best scores, course completion, and sound, haptic, and motion preferences are saved locally on your device. These values are used only to provide the game’s features. The developer cannot access them.

Storage and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you delete the app and its data. Offloading the app may preserve that data. Device backups may retain app data according to your Apple settings; manage those backups through Apple’s device and account controls.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request and resolve support issues, and retain it only as long as needed for those purposes or applicable legal obligations. Please avoid including sensitive information. You can contact us to request deletion of support correspondence.

This website

This site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Hosting requests may be processed by Google, including technical information such as your IP address, to deliver and secure the site. We do not add analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy for information about Google’s processing.

Children and sharing

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other players. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. Support email and website hosting are handled by their respective service providers as needed to operate those services.

How to play

Drag left or right on the lower pad to guide the marble through each opening. Aim for the blue center to build your combo. Three bumps end a scored run. Choose Free flow for a course without scores or failure.

Sound and comfort

Open Sound & comfort from the home screen or pause menu to adjust music, haptics, and background motion. Your settings and records are saved on your device.
